Pupil Premium & Reports

Purpose of Pupil Premium Funding

The Pupil Premium was introduced in April 2011 and is allocated to schools to work with pupils who have been registered for free school meals at any point in the last six years (known as 'Ever 6 FSM').

Pupil Premium Statement

The Pupil Premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers. The aim is to increase social mobility, attainment and progress.

Pupil Premium funding will be allocated following a needs analysis which identifies priority groups, individual pupils and resources. Limited funding and resources means that not all Free School Meal, Post-LAC and Service children will receive intervention and additional support at the same time.

Key Priority

To ensure that the disadvantaged gap closes by addressing inequalities and raising the attainment of those students in low-income families.

What we expect to see

Targeted additional support strategies which result in every pupil being able to have access to the curriculum and extra-curricular experiences.

Please see the documents below, which describe the things we have done, or plan to do, with the allocated Pupil Premium money.
