Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
We accept children from age 3+ into our F1 Nursery. Contact the school office
to book an appointment to meet with the headteacher, Mrs Lightwing, and visit the Foundation Unit.
Manor Primary Early Years Foundation Unit
We offer children 30 hours Funded Education in Foundation 1.
If you are a working parent with childcare costs, your 3 & 4 year olds may be able to get 30 hours free childcare.

The afternoon session is fee-paying for parents who, are not eligible to receive the extended funding, but still want their child to stay for the day.
Sessions will be charged at £10 per day, payable a week in advance at the school office.
If you are in receipt of certain benefits your child may be entitled to an Early Years Pupil Premium. Apply for your child's Pupil Premium funding at EYFS - Apply Pupil Premium.
Children's Centre Stay & Play Sessions are every Wednesday 9:30-10:30 am for children aged 0-5.
Come & join us for an opportunity, designed for parents and children, to play and make friends together. Enjoy fun activities including arts & crafts, games, songs & stories created to enhance your child’s learning and developmental skills.
Universal Infants Free School Meals (UIFSM)
All Key Stage 1 (Foundation 2 to Year 2) pupils are entitled to a Universal Infants Free School Meal.
This is different to Free School Meals. Your child can also be eligible for FSM in Key Stage 1.
Please inform the school office if you would like your child to take a school lunch or if he/she will bring a packed lunch.
Free School Meals (FSM)
If you are in receipt of certain benefits your child may be entitled to Free School Meals and Milk. If you think that you may be eligible apply here at Wirral - Apply-Free School Meals or come into the school office for an application form.
Please remember that the school budget benefits if you claim Free School Meals, even if your child doesn’t take the meal. We will receive extra funding called Pupil Premium which we use to to help pupils reach their full potential.
For children in Y3, Y4, Y5 & Y6, you may choose to pay for school meals, the cost of which is £2.68 per day and is payable in advance to the school office.
School Milk
All children up to the age of 5 are entitled to free school milk. Register your child and order your milk at www.coolmilk.com
When your child is 5, if you wish to continue to receive milk in school you must login and pre-order your milk via the Cool Milk website.
The cost to parents is approx £18 per term payable direct to Cool Milk.
FSM children will continue to receive free school milk. The school will register and pre-order their milk.
Health and Safety Notices
Bike & Scooter Riders
Please ensure children walk their bikes and scooters out of the premises as the slopes leading down to the gates make speeds dangerous and difficult to stop in the event of vehicles and other pedestrians passing.
Help us to avoid any injuries and promote road safety awareness.
Cycling helmets should be worn by cyclists.
Elbow and knee pads should be worn by scooter and skateboard riders.
Jewellery
No jewellery should be worn.
Plain studs are permitted, however they need to be removed for PE and extra curricular.
